Posted by Taylor Landis on

Fall is here, and that means haunted houses, pumpkin carving, costumes, and plenty of fall fun! And October means that it's time to get into the Halloween spirit! If you're looking for some fun fall activities, don't worry because there is plenty to do in the Myrtle Beach and Pawleys Island area. Check out some of these options!

Looking for something scary? Dr. Screams hosts its haunted house every year at Broadway at the Beach. This is perfect for your Halloween fright night fun!

Brookgreen Gardens Harvest Home Weekend Festival offers fall fun for the whole family. With scarecrow building, wagon hay rides, wool spinning, and pumpkin painting, you're sure to stay in the fall spirit. Check it out October 7-8 from 9:30-4:00.

The City of Conway Fall Festival will offer live performances, arts & crafts, food vendors, and the farmer's market on October 7 from 10:00-5:00. Bring the whole family for a day full of entertainment and fall fun!

Need some more ways to get into the October spirit? Check out Oktoberfest at The Market Common on October 13. Enjoy plenty of German beer and food, live entertainment, face painting, the pumpkin patch, and pumpkin decorating. And while you're there, check out some of the unique shops in the area.

The food is the best part! Sample food, wine, and dessert from over 50 restaurants at Taste of the Town on October 17. This is definitely not something that you want to miss.

Don't forget about Halloween at the Marsh Walk in Murrells Inlet. Fun Halloween activities like trick-or-treating, the costume parade, and the costume contest start at 5:00. Show up in your best costume and enjoy some amazing food at the restaurants on the inlet while you're here!

Stop by the Georgetown County Family YMCA for A Safe and Not So Spooky Halloween full of pumpkin painting, concessions, and the playing of the movie Hotel Transylvania. Activities begin at 4:30 on October 31.

Have a fun and spooky October with some of these fall activities, and always stay in the Halloween spirit!
