Top Attractions in Murrells Inlet!

Posted by Carly Slifka on

Visitors understand why the MarshWalk is one of the top destinations along the Grand Strand. Nestled along the shores of a salt marsh, the area offers breathtaking views and fabulous restaurants. Located within the quaint town of Murrells Inlet, the MarshWalk offers a half-mile boardwalk which hosts nightly live-entertainment, fishing charters, water sports and activities for all ages. Stop by and discover why Murrells Inlet is called the Seafood Capital of South Carolina!

From casual flip-flops to formal dresses, the MarshWalk's diverse environment has you covered. It’s a perfect choice for any occasion; whether it’s fancy or casual, anything goes! What I love the most about the MarshWalk is the variety of dining options:

1.  Bovine’s is one of my ‘go-to’ restaurants when hitting the boardwalk. Best known for their brick oven pizza, steaks, and seafood, this place has my all-time favorite dish: the 6oz Filet Mignon. It’s so delicious! The service is wonderful and the view is spectacular! This restaurant is perfect for the whole family! It features a full-size salad bar, and its personal pizzas are great for the kids! http://www.bovinesrestaurant.com/

2.  If you are like me and love sushi, head straight for Wahoo’s Fish House and order up some spicy tuna rolls! You will love Wahoo’s elegant décor and its two stories overlooking the marsh; it’s an amazing spot for special occasions. Enjoy happy hour specials every night from 4-7PM! Wahoo’s outdoor bar and dining area are another reason to stop by and see what all the talk is about…great fun! http://www.wahoosfishhouse.com/

3.  MarshWalk Water Sports has it all folks! Jet Ski dolphin tour, Jet Ski trip, kayak rentals, paddle board rentals and pedal boats! After renting Jet Skis twice, I decided to try paddle boarding! What a fun activity for family and friends outings. My friends can’t wait to come back and visit so we can book another excursion at the MarshWalk. http://www.marshwalkwatersports.com/

4.  No trip is complete without a stop at the Lazy Gator. The store carries a variety of household items and clothing apparel like Vera Bradly, Simply Southern, and Southern Fried Cotton. Whether you need a last minute souvenir or a hunk of delicious fudge, the Lazy Gator has everything you need to top off your visit to the MarshWalk! http://www.lazygator.com/
